Summit Vista Officially Opens Its Doors
On the morning of October 2, 2018, the ribbon signaling the opening of Utah’s first Life Plan Community was officially cut. Joining Summit Vista’s leadership team and employees in this celebratory occasion were key investors, developers, local leaders, and hundreds of eager residents.
“This is a very exciting moment,” shared Ted Roper. “We’ve been waiting to see the completed community in person since we first signed on, and it completely lived up to all the hype. It’s absolutely incredible.”
Within the 105-acre campus, Summit Vista features two finished residence buildings (with more in development) and the astonishing 62,000-square-foot Aspen Meadows clubhouse that stands as the community’s focal point.
“Our team has been thorough in designing a community that provides everything needed to promote active, retirement living,” stated Mark Erickson, Summit Vista CEO and executive director. “From our all-season indoor lap pool to our fitness center and activity studios, Summit Vista will be retirement unlike anything ever experienced before.”
Attendees of the event were also treated to a delicious lunch prepared by Summit Vista’s own director of culinary arts, Marcus Cordova.
“It’s always great to give residents, and prospective residents, a little taste of what they can expect from any of our three restaurants,” commented Cordova. “Now, with the community opening and people moving in, the real fun begins. We couldn’t be more excited to get to work—and get to know everyone.”
